We are pleased to inform you that BTRA is organizing the 53rd Joint Technological Conference of ATIRA, BTRA, SITRA and NITRA on 17th & 18th February 2012. The scheduled conference is 53rd in the uninterrupted series held every year by rotation at each venue.  The conference is hosted by BTRA once in four years and accordingly this time it will be held at BTRA in Mumbai. 

 

The papers for presentation in this premier conference will be based on recent R & D trends and of immediate importance to the industries in all major textile areas from the four TRAs. The conference provides threadbare discussions on R&D carried out by the four Textile Research Associations and possibility of adopting them in the industry. The following research papers are scheduled to be presented and discussed during two days of conference.

 ATIRA

  1. Concept of 3 Dimensional Hollow Fabric for Utility in Automobiles

  3. Economical Fire Retardant Fabric for Industrial Work Wear

  4. Techno-Economic Viability of Enhanced Oil Recovery using PEF Technology

 

BTRA:

  1. Atmospheric pressure plasma technologies for modification of textile surface properties

  2. Development of test method for analyzing formaldehyde content in textile auxiliaries

  3. Chemical and electrochemical polymerization of polypyrrole on textile substrates for achieving electrical conductivity characteristics.

  4. Improved dyeing of polyester fabric through microwave treatment."ECOFAST" An eco-friendly alternative to salt in reactive dying

 

NITRA

  1. Development of combat uniform cloth from various blends for the purpose of safety and comfort of soldiers        

  2. How to reduce style changeover time in Garment Industry

  3. Fire Retardant Fabrics from Corn Fibres

  4. Development of Cut/Stab Resistant Fabrics using HMPE   (Hi-Modulus Poly Ethylene) Fibres

 

SITRA

  1.  A study on fibre to yarn conversion cost

  2. Qualitative & quantitative requirements of cotton in the 12th five year plan

  3. Energy conservation measures in modern spinning mills : Case studies

  4. Development of spun silk garments made from hollow yarns

 The conference will be of two days duration.  The conference as a tradition has always attracted a large number of technical and business oriented audience from all over the country whereby the reported figures of the paid delegates during the last conference were 500 plus.

Delegate Registration fee :  Delegate Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- per delegate plus 10.30% service tax  for booking made before 20th January 2012
